ينتظر نادي الزمالك مقابلة فريق بيراميدز في الجولة الرابعة والعشرين من الدوري المصري الممتاز ، على استاد الدفاع الجوي وذلك يوم الخميس القادم 3 سبتمبر 2020، الموافق 15 محرم 1442 هجريًا.
وتعتبر المباراة مواجهة ثأرية على المركز الثاني في ترتيب الدوري المصري، حيث أن نادي بيراميدز يحتل المركز الثاني برصيد 45 نقطة، ويقع الزمالك في المركز الثالث بفارق الأهداف، والفائز في هذه المباراة سينفرد بالوصافة خلف الأهلي المتفوق على الثنائي بـ17 نقطة.
الجدير ذكره أن آخر مباريات الزمالك في الدوري ضد إنبي، وحقق فيها انتصار صعب بهدفٍ نظيف، وهذا الفوز هو الأول للأبيض منذ الفوز بالقمة على المارد الأحمر.
و وضع الجهاز الفنى للزمالك، بقيادة الفرنسى باتريس كارتيرون، برنامجًا تدريبيًا خاصًا لمحمود عبدالرازق "شيكابالا"، خلال المران المقام حاليا بملعب النادى، حيث يسعى الجهاز الفنى لتجهيز اللاعب بالشكل المناسب لمباريات الفريق المقبلة بعد انتهاء فترة الإيقاف التى أبعدته عن المباريات الأخيرة منذ بطولة السوبر، التى جمعت الفريق بنظيره الأهلى، فبراير الماضى، وانتهت بتتويج الأبيض باللقب.
